Seth was seen by the consultant last Friday, and the fluid has gone down slightly. There's still a lot there but the consultant wants to see him again in April to see of it has drained by then but for the moment it looks like surgery won't be needed.

Thank-you Lily for looking out for your baby brother, we miss you so much sweetheart. It was your 13th birthday last Thursday, daddy found it very hard because it would've been your first day as a teenager. The candles we burned for you weren't very good were they? We'll buy some better ones next year. The days are exactly the same as 6 years ago, your 7th birthday was on the Thursday 11th, and you died on Friday 26th which is also next week. I can't write anymore at the moment as I'm getting upset.

Well, I'm on my second course now with the OU which is the first module of the degree (the previous course I completed adds to my points, but isn't a course named on the degree, it's a free-choice).

Life is a little hectic to say the least! Our son was born on 29/07/10 which is my auntie Ness' birthday, so my mom can have some joy on what would have been a very black day. It's harder with 2 kids, and the uni work too, and I haven't had to factor in work yet of which my return date from maternity leave is in March. It's looming fast and I feel a little emotional about it as I'm concerned about how I'm going to continue breastfeeding but we'll work it out.

Seth (our son) has me worried at the moment. The Dr saw he had a build up of fluid in his scrotum at his 8 week check, and requested to see him again 2 weeks later. The appointment rolled on and the fluid still hadn't drained itself, and had got a little worse, so we've had to make an appointment to see a consultant with regards to surgery. I'm absolutely terrified, I've had so many tearful moments. I'm scared that Seth won't wake up from General Anaesthetic. I'm jumping ahead so much, we haven't even had the consultant appointment yet but I can't help it! Could lightning actually strike twice?

Long time, no write

I haven't written in here for 6 months!

My OU course is going really well, and I'm getting really good scores for my iCMA's and TMA's.

Our baby (which is a boy!) is due in 18 days time. The time has flown by, but I suppose it's because I've had loads of things to do, especially as I'm starting an assignment just after the previous one is finished and posted (not to mention the iCMA's in between)!

My cousin who was 4 weeks ahead of me in pregnancy had a baby girl on the 26th June.

Life is ticking along nicely at the moment.

A New Year!

My OU course starts in just 4 weeks time. Getting excited now! I'm going to have to work really hard over these next few months to get ahead of the course as our baby is due at the end of July so I won't be able to do much for the first few weeks after it's born.

So this year is going to be a busy one, that's for sure.
