My kids went back to school/nursery today. Looked like loads of parents had relief on their face :-D

My house is calm once more. The neighbours must be throwing their own party in celebration!

Not long until the holiday now & I have everything in place ready for it, flight tickets, park tickets, money, ESTA's, parking etc.

I might have to put some pictures in this blog to dress it up a bit.

It's Saturday!

Well I don't know about you, but where the hell has this week (and this year) gone???

I'm beginning to think that I've bitten off more than I can chew, but in reality it's because I've not organised myself properly this week (and because I keep getting pestered by my 2 year old due to the fact that Mark is feeling unwell at the moment). Seriously considering paying for a nursery place. Once again I have put more hours into my business than I should have, so I'm revisiting my outlook calendar & my diary to book in my business time and my study time - no checking of emails unless it's booked in.

My daughter went to a birthday party today which doesn't happen very often due to the fact that she doesn't build or retain friendships very easily. That's another thing that Mark was meant to be controlling, but I ended up being the taxi so cue a wasted 2 hours of study time.

Anyway, enough of my jabbering, I need to work on my assignment for a couple of hours so that I can watch Rylan Clark's entertainment tonight, I'll sky+ it so that I can fast forward through the other (boring) acts.

Not AWOL

I'm still here. Just crazy busy right now.

My current 'list' of duties:

Running a household, including 2 kids.
Deep into my degree now.
Working part-time in the evenings Mon-Fri.
Trying to have family days out at weekends.


I'm spinning so many plates that I don't remember to blog, or have time for that matter, so my posts are few and far between!

So, update on my studies so far: I've completed enough courses to get my Certificate in Mathematics. Working towards my Diploma in Statistics and my BSc in Mathematics and Statistics.


Having a few issues with hubby at the moment, not in our marriage, rather that he is having issues with his depression and his work at the moment. One asshole manager to be precise. He's nit-picked for the last few months and unfortunately Mark has been unable to cope with the constant barrage, so he's been signed off for 2 weeks and is now on stronger anti-depressants. If I see that twat of a man (not my hubby obviously lol) I will have a few choice words to say.

Marena seems to be improving, I think the routine of year 1 is agreeing with her. Crap, that's just reminded me that she has homework to do for Monday.

Well, better continue with my assignment which is due in on Wednesday, last one for this module! Only have the exam in October to do then I'll have a couple of month's break before the next modules start, not that I'll get to rest as I have other things to do.
